CHANGES IN SAILING INSTRUCTIONS MADE AFLOAT
Any change in the Sailing Instructions made afloat will be communicated via VHF channel 68 and/or loud hailerTime of first warning will be 1050 hr.

STARTS
The race will be started in accordance with RRS 26, in the order:

The warning signal for each class will be 10 minutes prior to its start.
The starting line will be between a staff displaying an orange flag on the RC Signal Boat at the starboard end and the course side of the yellow tetrahedron mark at the port end.
A distance buoy may be streamed aft of the Race Committee boat and if present shall be considered part of the RC boat.
Yachts whose warning signal has not been made shall avoid the starting area.
RC may eliminate or combine starts without prior notice, depending on entries. These will be indicated by next class start flags, and RC may announce any such changes on VHF 68.
RECALLS
13.1 Individual Recalls shall be signaled in accordance with racing Rule 29.1. The Race Committee shall not hail premature starters. It is the responsibility of yachts to start properly.
13.2 Premature starters failing to return and start properly will be penalized by having one hour added to their corrected times. This alters RRS 29.1.
CHANGE OF COURSE AFTER THE START
No change of course shall be
made after the start.
15. FINISH
15.1 When the lead yacht of the leading class is within two hours of finishing, she is requested to so advise the Race Committee.
15.2 The finish line shall be approximately 500 yards east of Zuniga Jetty light "Y". This light may not be in operation.
The finish line shall be between a staff displaying an orange flag on the RC Signal Boat at the starboard end and the course side of the yellow tetrahedron mark at the port end. A proper finish will leave the RC boat to starboard. After sunset, the Race Committee shall attempt to display a yellow strobe light.
15.4 If for any reason, the RC boat is not on station at the finish, yachts shall take their own time when the position of light "Y" bears 270o magnetic and is within 500 yards. Times so taken must be corrected to GPS time and reported to the SWYC Race Committee through the SWYC front office (619 222-0438) between 0900 and 1000 on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011. Finishers should note sail numbers of other yachts finishing at approximately the same time.
